While Google announced the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL earlier this week, Amazon now has a pretty sweet offer for anyone not wanting to trade in their current device. Amazon is giving pre-orderers a $200 gift card with their Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL. That’s a pretty sweet deal, as you can use that gift card to buy cases and other accessories for the two phones. It’s worth noting that this deal is only available on the 256GB and 512GB models, which means prices start at $1,099 and $1,199 for these devices with this deal.
The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are both the same phone; the only difference is screen and battery sizes. So, the Pixel 9 Pro offers a 6.3-inch display with a 4700mAh capacity battery. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch display and a 5060mAh battery capacity. Internally, both sport the Tensor G4 processor, with 16GB of RAM. It also starts at 128GB of storage and goes up to 1TB of storage. All three models are available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Rose Quartz, and Hazel colors.
During my hands-on with the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL at the Made by Google event in Mountain View, I found that both devices feel very high-end. And while they did adopt flat sides like the iPhone and the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the new Pixels are not sharp on the sides. It’s actually pretty comfortable to hold, which is still a bit surprising for me. Additionally, the camera bump is matte this year, instead of glossy like it was on the Pixel 8 Pro last year.
You can grab either Pixel 9 Pro model from Amazon using the links below. The Pixel 9 Pro is slated to ship on September 4, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL is slated to ship on August 22.
