After leaking renders of the Google Pixel 9 Pro, we now have our hands on exclusive renders of all the cases that will be available for Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Starting with the Google Pixel 9 Pro, we will have the Silicon Case that Google has offered for the past few generations in five colors. These include colors to match every Pixel 9 Pro color, plus an Aloe color that seems to match the Pixel 8a. So the colors here are Charcoal, Porcelain, Hazel, Rose and Aloe. They appear to be built similar to previous Silicon cases from Google, which means they will likely collect dust like a magnet, but they do have a nice and soft interior to protect your phone.
Moving onto the Pixel 9 Pro XL, it will be available in four colors. All of the same colors as the Pixel 9 Pro cases minus the Aloe color. Like in previous years, you’ll be able to match your case with your phone.
Google’s Pixel 9 lineup will be announced next month
Next month, Google is going to announce the entire Pixel 9 lineup – Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold – at an event in Mountain View, California. This is the first time that Google has launched a Pixel on its own campus, so we are expecting some big surprises. We do already know that the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 3 XL will be announced, in addition to the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. So Google has quite a bit of hardware to announce.
This year, Google is opting for two (technically three) Pro models, offering both sizes, similar to the iPhone. So you’ll be able to get the Pixel 9 Pro in either a 6.3-inch size or a 6.9-inch size. That’s one thing that many who prefer a smaller phone size have been asking for. Since most phone makers no longer offer flagship specs on a smaller physical-sized phone. Additionally, there’s the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which seems to be adopting a more OnePlus Open or OPPO Find N3 style with a taller front display. We will get to see everything on August 13.
