During the latest Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon said he is a big fan of Apple’s smartphones. The comedian and show host said he was among the first in line at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store in Central Park the day the iPhone 16 series was available. The video shows Fallon in the queue, filming himself with an iPhone and wearing the Apple Vision Pro. After an appearance by Apple CEO Tim Cook, the two begin walking through Central Park while Fallon asks him about his life.

Tim Cook says he walks down Fifth Avenue every day, where he receives the enthusiasm and love of the brand’s fans. He also mentions having to remind himself that the fans’ love is for Apple. Cook talks about other interesting things, like how he never thought he would become CEO of Apple when he joined the company 27 years ago. On the other hand, Fallon mentions having been a computer science major, still retaining knowledge of COBOL and “a little bit” of C++.

During the walk through Central Park, Jimmy Fallon and Tim Cook also touched on the Apple Intelligence topic. The AI-powered features will arrive in October (except in Europe), and he is excited about it. He mentioned that “Summarize emails” is his favorite feature since it makes things easier in his job. There are also funny moments, such as Fallon’s attempt to guess Cook’s preference for ketchup or mustard. You can watch the full 5-minute video below.
