The OnePlus Buds Pro series of earbuds is the company’s flagship series of earbuds, and the latest generation just hit the masses. The company just launched the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and they’re set to take on the latest AirPods and Galaxy Buds.

OnePlus just launched the new OnePlus Buds Pro 3
As you can imagine, these are the best and most advanced earbuds that the company has to offer. OnePlus fitted these earbuds with its most advanced audio drivers. Each bud has a duo of drivers consisting of a woofer and a tweeter. The woofer is dedicated to the lower tones while the tweeter takes on the higher tones. This creates a better separation of the audio.
Digging deeper into these drivers, the woofers are a large 11mm. They actually come with two magnets rather than one. This increases the power that they output, adding to the low-end audio. Moving onto the tweeters, these come in at 6mm. Sporting a 35μm, these tweeters can reproduce extremely high-pitched and detailed sounds.
Adding to this separation, each driver has its own DAC. Each DAC can deliver a specialized signal to the drivers. This only adds to the overall audio quality.
Noise cancelation
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 have better noise cancelation than the earbuds launched before. They feature ANC, but this doesn’t stand for Active noise cancelation, it stands for Adaptive noise cancelation.
Being adaptive, the noise cancelation level will adapt to the environment. If you move to a louder environment, the earbuds will increase the noise cancelation to cancel more noise. It will cancel up to 50dB of noise. This also means that it will drop when you walk into a quieter environment. This will help conserve battery life.
Battery
Speaking of battery life, these earbuds are rated to last up to 43 hours in total. This is with the charging case included. If they die on you, you can expect up to five hours of listening time on a simple 10-minute charge.
Other features include Google Fast Pair, Bluetooth 5.4, and Google Spatial Audio.
Price and availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 come in the Midnight Opus (Black) and Lunar Radiance (Off-white) colors, and the cases are made with vegan leather. They both look nice and elegant.
They cost $179.99 (CAD $269.99), and they’re available to buy from Amazon and the OnePlus Store. Amazon availability will come in September. $180 is not a bad price for what you’re getting, but there is an early order discount.
