SteelSeries is the official Dota 2 Championship 2024 partner

SteelSeries Dota 2 Championship Partner

SteelSeries has announced that it will be the official peripheral partner for The International Dota 2 Championship for 2024. This will be the company’s fourth year as the event’s official peripheral partner. It’s also yet another partnership in a long line of partnerships that SteelSeries has had across the gaming industry and Esports in general. Outside of Dota 2, SteelSeries has been an official partner for several gaming brands and studios including Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, HP, and even Discord.

SteelSeries is also celebrating its third year as the official partner for the Dota 2 Championship cosplay competition. This is the more exciting part of the announcement for anyone who dabbles in the activity. Quite frankly, because there’s loot involved. And we all know how gamers love loot.

Dota 2 Championship cosplay competition participants can win SteelSeries gear

The International Dota 2 Championship is a pretty big thing in Esports as it’s the largest Esports tournament in the world. And every year, there’s a cosplay completion that accompanies it. SteelSeries is now the official partner for this championship for the third year in a row. As such, participants who win a certain spot will be able to score some sweet SteelSeries gear. Not to mention a share of the overall monetary prize pool.

There are five different awards and each comes with both money and gear. The prize pool is €18,500 and there will be a total of 10 winners, with the ‘Best In Show’ award winner getting €5,000 and a Full set of SteelSeries Gear in addition to 2 General Admission Tickets to the championship. There will also be awards for Best Technique, Biggest Transformation, Judge’s Choice, and the Runner-Up category. In fact, there will be 6 runners-up. Even the runner-up winners can walk away with a hefty pot of prizes as they get €1,000 in addition to a SteelSeries headset and 2 General Admission tickets to the championship. Not a bad haul.

SteelSeries doesn’t appear to mention any of the gear specifically. So there’s no telling what peripherals the winners will be getting. But it wouldn’t be surprising to see some of it be the popular Arctis Nova 7 or Arctis Nova Pro wireless headset. Again, though, there’s no confirmation on what the gear is.

Entrants need to register by September 1
