It’s CES 2024, and TCL is not holding any punches. After unveiling a handful of amazing phones during the trade show, the company gave us a taste of its upcoming tablets. The company unveiled the TCL NXTPAPER 14 Pro and the TCL Tab 10 NXTPAPER 5G.
Along with the tablets, TCL unveiled a whopping seven phones under its TCL 50 Series. Two of these phones are the first handsets to use TCL’s NXTPAPER technology in the States. There’s a lot of great stuff coming from the company, so you want to stay tuned for whatever TCL unveils.
TCL introduced its TCL NXTPAPER 14 Pro
This is going to be a pretty capable device. Starting off with the specs, the TCL NXTPAPER 14 Pro has a 14-inch 2.8k display. Since TCL is a TV maker, you can expect good quality from this panel. What’s most significant about this display is that it uses TCL’s NXTPAPER 3 technology. This is the next generation of the company’s proprietary technology that gives us devices a paper-like appearance. It prioritizes eye safety by utilizing CPL technology and DC dimming. It’s supposed to be just as safe as looking at a piece of paper rather than staring at a tablet screen.
Moving onto the internals, this tablet sports the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC. That’s backed up by a hefty 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for the battery, this tablet has a massive 12,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
TCL Tab 10 NXTPAPER 5G
This device has a 10.4-inch 2K NXTPAPER display. As the name suggests, this tablet can use 5G. It’s lightweight, so you will be able to watch content on it for as long as you want without your hand getting tired. You can use it to watch content, do some light work, or read ebooks.
These devices will officially launch later this year, and they’re both coming to the United States. This is just a taste of the incredible technology that TCL has in store for us.
