With the official launch reportedly slated for February 1, 2023, Samsung may have finalized everything for the Galaxy S23 series by now. Design, specs, colors, and everything else. Perhaps it may have already begun mass production of the handsets. While leaks have revealed the design and key specs of the upcoming Galaxy flagships, not much has been heard regarding their colorways. Samsung-focused publication SamMobile has now exclusively shared information about the signature colors of the Galaxy S23 trio.
Samsung will offer the Galaxy S23 phones in multiple colors
According to the report, light gold/pink gold will be the signature color of the vanilla Galaxy S23. The Galaxy S23+ will get a pink hue too as its signature color. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, meanwhile, will be promoted in green. Of course, all three models will come in a host of other color options.
Signature color means the color variant that Samsung will highlight in its marketing materials. It has to choose one color option for each model and these are what the company has chosen.
Recent leaks have suggested that Samsung will offer the S Pen for the Galaxy S23 Ultra in Phantom Black, Green, Rose (Light Pink), Beige/Cream, and Lavender colors. Since this accessory usually gets the same colorways as the handset itself, we may already have the color options for the Ultra model. Green was featured in those leaks too, so we have added proof there.
We may soon get more information about the Galaxy S23 colorways. Of course, Samsung will offer a colorful range of protective cases as well. You can already buy some third-party cases if you want to get a feel of the new Galaxy flagships early.
As said earlier, Samsung has reportedly locked the February 1 date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event where it will take wraps off the Galaxy S23 trio. The event is just about five weeks away now. But, that’s plenty of time for more leaks and rumors.
Rumored specs
If history is any indication, we should soon get to learn the detailed specs and colorways of the new phones. The information we have so far suggests that the Galaxy S23 series will be a notable upgrade over the Galaxy S22. The biggest change is that Samsung is going all-in on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor next year.
Other rumors include bigger batteries, brighter and more energy-efficient Super AMOLED screens with stronger Gorilla Glass protection, faster and larger ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, and the latest RAM (LPDDR5X) and storage (UFS 4.0) technologies. There are also hints of Samsung equipping the Galaxy S23 trio with a satellite connectivity system. We will find out the truth soon.
