TikTok’s expanded live Subscription feature lets creators share exclusive content with paying subscribers
The biggest highlight of TikTok’s new expanded live “Subscription” feature for the creators is the ability to share exclusive content with paying subscribers. The company said the expansion will allow regular creators to provide paying subscribers with exclusive content and other perks. The brand says that the expanded live Subscription functionality will allow creators to increase their earnings by many times.
New Subscription feature lets creators offer three different tiers with exclusive perks
Notably, TikTok’s expanded “Subscription” feature allows creators to offer three different paid tiers with exclusive content and perks. These tiers will provide a variety of exclusive content for a monthly fee. The subscribers of the paid tiers will get access to exclusive videos, LIVEs, and notes. They will also have access to unique stickers for use during LIVEs and evolving badges. The community identifiers will appear next to their names on their profiles and in comments.
They will also be given additional perks like more communication channels. The subscribers will get access to Sub Space, which is an exclusive space for content creators to communicate with their subscribers. Furthermore, the creators can customize the perks designed especially for their community.
As per TikTok’s announcement post, the creators can choose from a ready-made list of perks for a tier provided by the company. These can include roles on Discord, shoutouts, performance requests, exclusive videos, the ability to play games together, and more.
