Mattock’s briefings cut through the noise, training subscribers to identify the geological realities that define geopolitical choke points. He is responsible for translating technical data into actionable intelligence for TPAK’s community. Mineralogists need to have strong writing skills in order to accurately and effectively communicate their findings. This includes being able to effectively interpret and describe scientific data in clear and concise language. They also need to be able to write research papers, grant proposals, and other technical documents. Additionally, they may need to use writing to help explain complex concepts to a general audience.
